There is no charge or fee for an initial consultation or case evaluation. The firm handles all matters on a standard contingency fee basis. The firm does not charge graduated contingency fees. Under a standard contingency fee arrangement, the client is not required to pay for any fees or litigation expenses unless there is a favorable outcome through settlement negotiations, mediation, a judgment, or a verdict. The firm is proud that many of its cases are a result of referrals from other lawyers and colleagues. The Supreme Court of Texas has adopted rules regarding case referrals. Under Texas Disciplinary Rule 1.04(f) and (g), the client must consent to a referral before the referral is made. The firm pays referral fees in accordance with the Texas Disciplinary Rules for any case in which there is an ultimate recovery.
